He has performed extensive research in these fields with many peer-reviewed publications and presentations at national meetings. Ali F. Aboufares, MD is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at Columbia University Medical Center, College of Physicians and Surgeons. Dr. Aboufares is a cardiologist with clinical expertise in clinical cardiology, cardiac and peripheral vascular intervention.Dr. Aboufares is board certified in cardiology, interventional cardiology, echocardiography and nuclear cardiology. He received his medical degree from American University of Beirut, and received his cardiology training at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York, and peripheral training at the Ochsner Clinic Foundation in LouisianaDr. Aboufares sees patients at three convenient locations; Midtown East, Midtown West and at Columbia Universality Medical Center / NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in Washington Heights.

He is on staff at Albany Medical Center, Albany Memorial Hospital, and St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany, NY as well as Samaritan Hospital and St. Mary’s Hospital in Troy, NY. Dr. DeLago is currently the Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory as well as the Director of Interventional Cardiology at Albany Medical Center. Dr DeLago is also currently President of Capital Cardiology Associates, PC, as well as Founder and Director of the Cardiac CT Imaging Suite at Corporate Woods. |
